Full Duplex — Two Antennas Per Base Station
The BTR700 and BTR800 are full duplex wireless base stations, transmitting and receiving simultaneously on separate frequencies. Each base station requires two antennas — one for Tx (transmit) and one for Rx (receive). The beltpack also carries two antennas as the complementary pair: beltpack Tx matches base Rx frequency, and beltpack Rx matches base Tx frequency.
The frequency band your system operates on is printed on the back of the BTR700/BTR800 unit as a band letter (e.g. F3, H2, C4). Use the table below to identify which antenna colour you need for each position.
Antenna Colour by Band
| Band | Base Station Tx Antenna | Base Station Rx Antenna |
|---|---|---|
| F3, F4, H2, H3, H4, A2, B4, C3, C4 | Yellow (FA-YW) 525–610 MHz | Green (FA-GW) 610–710 MHz |
| B6, C6 | Yellow (FA-YW) 525–610 MHz | Blue (FA-BW) 710–880 MHz |
| E88 | Yellow (FA-YW) 525–610 MHz | Red (FA-RW) 470–550 MHz |
Note: The beltpack antenna pair is the reverse of the base station — beltpack Tx matches base Rx, and beltpack Rx matches base Tx. Before ordering, always verify the band letter on your unit and check the colour bands on your existing antennas.
