Open Mesh is a shared-channel conversation. Group Mesh creates a closed group for up to 24 users. CAST switches between them rather than monitoring both at once.

Current CAST guidance includes a Mesh 2.0 setting in the Sena Industrial App for older Mesh 2.0 equipment. Check the actual units' firmware and available settings when extending a team.

Published open-space range is up to 1.1 km, extendable to 4.4 km with at least six users providing intermediate connections. Actual coverage depends on obstructions and user positions. Compatible two-way-radio connections are supported; production intercom integration needs a separate compatibility check.
