The TC4 is hands-free by design — the belt loop PTT means the operative never needs to reach for the radio, and the 3.5mm listen socket means they can use their own earbuds or induction loop earpiece under a helmet. The 3.5mm Listen Socket

The key USP of the TC4 is the 3.5mm listen socket on the listen wire. Plug in your own listen device — phone earbuds, a listen-only ear speaker, a transducer clear tube earpiece, or a high-efficiency induction neck loop for a wireless earpiece. Any standard stereo or mono jack device will work.

The socket is wired so that sound is heard in one ear only, leaving the other ear acoustically open. One ear on the radio, one ear aware of your surroundings — nobody can creep up on you. For operatives in high-risk environments, that situational awareness can be a life-saver.

The listen device itself provides the cover. Phone earbuds or an induction loop earpiece look completely unremarkable in public — the operative blends in without a second glance.

The PTT

The PTT fastens to a belt loop, hidden under a jacket or coat. The operative transmits with a slight squeeze at the waist — without breaking eye contact, without raising a hand, without any visible movement at all. Natural posture is maintained throughout. There is nothing to see.

The Microphone

A high-quality tie clip microphone with a low-profile pin clip, worn under the shirt or upper garments. The mic and PTT each have 91cm (36”) of thin cable for comfortable, concealed fitting.
