Genuine Sepura extended wideband helical antenna for the STP8000, STP8100, STP8200, STP9000, SC20 and SC23 TETRA radios. Covers the 380–400MHz UHF band. Identified by a blue dot on the tip. Length approximately 71mm.

Selecting the correct antenna

Antennas for the STP and SC20/SC23 series are selected by operational frequency band. You can identify the correct antenna by the coloured dot or the specific frequency range. Nominal gain figures are measured in free space at resonance and will degrade when used close to the body. Quarter wave whip antennas offer a modest gain advantage over extended helical antennas, particularly when the radio is worn on the belt rather than the shoulder, where body absorption is higher.
