This car kit enables a hand-held Sepura STP radio to be used in a vehicle installation.

When inserted into the cradle, all connections from the radio's bottom connector are routed to the interface unit. An additional connector from the top of the cradle allows for a vehicle-mounted antenna, providing improved reception and transmission.

Power from the interface unit is used to charge the radio battery and ignition sensing enables the radio to power down after a predetermined period if left in the vehicle with the ignition switched off.
