SENA MeshPort Blue for general Bluetooth Headsets

Sena MeshPort Blue connects one compatible Bluetooth headset to Sena Open Mesh. It offers a way to use an existing headset for a team conversation without replacing it with an integrated mesh headset.

How it connects

Pair your Bluetooth headset to the adapter, then use a common Mesh version and Open Mesh channel with the other participants. Compatible CAST and EXPAND Mesh users can share that conversation. Check the specific Bluetooth headset and firmware before ordering; Bluetooth alone is not a guarantee of compatibility.

MeshPort Blue uses Open Mesh, not Group Mesh. If other participants switch to a closed Group Mesh conversation, the MeshPort Blue wearer does not follow them into it.

Versions and coverage

Sena lists Mesh 3.0 as an addition in MeshPort Blue firmware v1.5. Current specifications list six Open Mesh channels and Bluetooth 5.0 with HSP and HFP. Older documentation describes nine channels; check the unit's firmware and Mesh version rather than assuming every unit has identical settings.

Published range is up to 800 metres in open terrain, extendable up to 3 km with at least six users providing intermediate connections. This is extended network coverage, not direct range between every pair of users. Obstructions and user positions affect results.
