The ListenTALK LK-1 is the leader unit of the ListenTALK wireless communication system — a compact, two-way transceiver that lets tour guides, trainers, and team leaders communicate clearly with their group without raising their voice, gathering everyone in one place, or disrupting the surrounding environment.

In use at Toyota manufacturing facilities for daily production briefings and factory open days, and in NHS GP practices for clinical training — where a supervising trainer can listen to a live patient consultation and offer real-time guidance to the doctor, discreetly and securely. Encrypted communication means confidentiality is maintained throughout. The system scales from just two units up to large groups.

Hybrid-ready: Connect the LK-1 to a laptop, smartphone, or tablet via the LA-449 Smartphone Cable (sold separately) and remote participants can join via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, GoToMeeting, or similar — hearing the on-site group in real time and speaking back through the leader unit. Ideal for remote managers joining a factory floor briefing, or a clinical supervisor observing a GP consultation from another site.

Pairs with LKR-12 receivers for listen-only participants, or with other LK-1 units for full two-way group communication. Compatible with standard earbuds and the full Listen Technologies headset range including the LA-451 and LA-452.
