All the functionality of the LA-480 is retained: tension-lock charging slots, group pairing, profile cloning, firmware updates, and ID card pockets for check-in/check-out workflows. The carrying case adds portability and secure storage — though note it is not rated as a shipping container and should not be used to send units by courier.
