Flexible Anti-Vibration Gooseneck Boom — Clear Voice, Noise Rejection

The cardioid dynamic mic is mounted on a flexible gooseneck boom that resists vibration and holds its position without drifting. The fully rotating boom arm positions for left or right ear wearing — essential for sound, lighting, and stage management roles where the headset may be worn for hours at a stretch.

Boom-Position Mic Mute

Raising the boom to the upright position automatically mutes the microphone — a clean, intuitive way to go off-mic without touching a button or disconnecting from the beltpack. Lower the boom and you're live again.

Lightweight Cable

The HMD685 is fitted with a lighter, thinner cable than earlier production runs — reducing overall weight without compromising durability. A running change introduced to improve long-wear comfort.

XLR4F — Plug and Play with Your Beltpack

Wired with a 1.5m cable terminated in XLR4F — compatible straight out of the box with Tecpro, Clearcom, Granite, ASL, and Altair beltpacks. Also available with XLR5M or XLR5F connector for comms panels and wireless beltpacks — contact us to order.
