Battery Door Kit for Eartec UltraLITE ULSR

Battery doors take a lot of small, repeated use — opened and closed every time batteries are changed. Over time the catch wears and the door stops closing properly. This kit gives you everything you need to sort it.

The kit includes a replacement battery door, hinge pivot pin, and temple cushion pad. Fitting requires removing the temple cushion pad, then unscrewing four screws beneath it and two more above to remove the back cover of the battery box ear rest. The new door and pivot pin are then fitted. The catch closes onto a thin pre-sprung metal plate inside the housing — in most cases the new door resolves the problem. If the catch still doesn't engage after fitting, the spring plate may also be worn and will need replacing, which is a little more involved.

Installation notes: Take a photo on your phone before you start, and at any stage where you are unsure — it will remind you how everything goes back together.
