Intercom XLR Y Cord — Passive Splitter for Two Beltpacks

A passive XLR Y cord that splits one intercom feed into two — useful in two distinct situations.
End-of-run splitting without loop-through. If you have a single XLR run to a position and need two users on comms, plug the Y cord at the cable end and both beltpacks connect independently. The key advantage over daisy-chaining via loop-through: if one user unplugs their beltpack, the other keeps their feed. No dependency, no dropped comms.
A classic use case is lighting pods at a concert or theatre show — spot operators who go up at the start and don't come down until the end. With four spot ops, you might split the feed so one Y cord covers far-left and middle-right, the other covers far-right and middle-left. Each operator is independent.
PSU output expansion. If your intercom power supply has run out of output sockets, place the Y cord at an existing output to create an additional feed. A straightforward way to add capacity without replacing the PSU.
