Beyerdynamic M5 Headphone adapter 3.5mm threaded to 6.35mm jack

This adapter is for Beyerdynamic headphones manufactured after 2019. For headphones made before 2019, you need part 981209 (M8 thread).

The fit, the feel, the sound: you know exactly what they should be. A spare adapter means you're never caught out by a lost or damaged jack.

This screw adapter converts the 3.5mm threaded socket on your headphones to a standard 6.35mm jack plug. From 2019, Beyerdynamic moved to a smaller M5 thread — allowing the headphones to be used with a mobile device via the 3.5mm socket when the adapter is unscrewed.

Note: the M8 adapter (981209) can physically fit M5-threaded headphones as a plug adapter, but the M5 adapter (this product) is the correct replacement for post-2019 models. You can identify the version by the insulating rings on the contact body: the M8 adapter (981209) has green rings; this M5 adapter (937681) has black rings.
