Beyerdynamic M8 Headphone adapter 3.5mm threaded to 6.35mm jack

This adapter is for Beyerdynamic headphones manufactured before 2019. For headphones made after 2019, you need part 937681 (M5 thread).

This gold-plated screw adapter converts the 3.5mm threaded socket on your headphones to a standard 6.35mm jack plug. Prior to 2019, Beyerdynamic used a larger M8 thread on this adapter. In 2019 they moved to a smaller M5 thread — if you're unsure which you need, check the thread size on your existing adapter.

You can identify the version by the insulating rings on the contact body: this M8 adapter (981209) has green rings; the M5 adapter (937681) has black rings.
