The system can operate in two differnt modes, A/B, with two independent channels and A+B with up to 8 wireless beltpacks in a single party line.


WBS-202HD is compatible with all our wireless beltpack models, allowing the use of a maximum of 8 single channel beltpacks when set to single channel mode.

RADIO

  • Frequency:1.9 Ghz band.
  • Modulation:GFSK/TDMA.
  • Transmit Power:22 dBm typically.
  • Receive Sensitivity:-92 dBm typically.
  • Beltpacks per base capability:
    8x WBP-200 single channel 
    or
    6 x WBP-200 & 2xWBP-202 dual channel.

Two omnidirectional antennas are located on the front panel, each of them dedicated to one RADIO link (Left antenna for RADIO 1, right antenna for RADIO 2).
By connecting additional antennas the user can set up a Diversity system for each RA-
DIO which will ensure the best possible coverage while minimizing dropouts.

When more beltpacks are needed, the unit can be used in “slave” mode by wiring base stations across the working area, ex-
panding the number of wireless users in a cellular arrangement.

The WBS202 HD base unit will also power up to 20 wired beltpacks using XLR cable.
