The WBP210HD is Altair's flagship single channel wireless beltpack, built for professionals who cannot afford communication failure in demanding live production environments — music festivals, live theatre, corporate events, TV ENG, broadcast and film.

The Extreme series was designed from the ground up for high-stress, high-stakes applications. Bigger illuminated buttons, a colour display with intuitive menu navigation, and a keyboard lock to prevent accidental operation make it reliable and easy to use under pressure. The fast learning curve makes it an ideal choice for rental companies and large crews with multiple users.

Battery — no compromises

15 hours full duplex operation from the built-in Li-Ion battery. 75 hours in call-receive standby mode. Charges via USB for convenience, or use the dedicated WBPC210 4-way charger for faster turnaround between shows. When the main battery depletes mid-production, the AA emergency battery compartment keeps you on comms. Production insurance when it matters most.

Headset flexibility

The standard XLR4F headset socket opens up compatibility with a wide range of professional broadcast headsets — including Clearcom, RTS, Tecpro, Sennheiser and more — giving you genuine flexibility in headset choice. This is a significant advantage over mini XLR beltpacks where headset options are limited.

Range and audio quality

Operates on the licence-free 1.9GHz DECT band with a typical range of 50–350m around the base station. Wideband HD audio (100Hz–7kHz) delivers clear, natural voice quality on the intercom line. Internal dual diversity antennas ensure a clean belt fit with nothing to snag or damage.

Twin Mode

Two WBP210HD Extreme beltpacks can communicate directly with each other without a base station — ideal for advance crew, site walks, or as a backup communication path.

Bluetooth

Built-in Bluetooth allows pairing with wireless headsets for added flexibility on set or in the field.
