Considering this kit for a new system?

If you are building from scratch and don't have an existing mini XLR headset collection, we recommend considering the 8-user Extreme kit instead. The WBP-210HD Extreme beltpack uses a standard XLR4F connector, opening up a wider range of headset options at comparable or lower cost — and the saving on headsets across 8 users largely offsets the price difference between the two beltpack models.

What's in the kit

• 1× WBS-202HD HD wireless base station (dual channel, 8 user max)
• 8× WBP-200HD Compact wireless beltpacks
• 8× WAM-100 single-sided headsets (mini XLR)
• 2× WBPC-200 4-way chargers for Compact beltpacks

The base station also provides a wired headset socket, adding a ninth static position — see below.

Wireless performance

Operates on the licence-free 1.9GHz DECT band with encrypted digital communications and a diversity antenna system for minimum dropouts. Typical range of 50–350m around the base station. Wideband HD audio (100Hz–7kHz) for clear, natural voice quality on the intercom line.

Battery life

10 hours full duplex operation per charge.

Beltpack features

Each WBP-200HD Compact beltpack includes: Call, Volume, Mic On/Off/PTT, plus buzzer and vibrator call alerts so you know when you're being called even in noisy environments.

Base station as master station

The WBS-202HD has a built-in speaker and headset socket, allowing it to be used as a static master station. This adds a ninth user position to the system without an additional beltpack — ideal for a stage manager or director working from a fixed position.

Wired intercom compatibility

The WBS-202HD base station includes two party line outputs (A/B) to drive standard wired beltpacks and desk stations. Compatible with Clear-Com, Espiral, and standard 2-wire and 4-wire wired intercom systems — making it straightforward to integrate into an existing wired infrastructure.

Need more users?

The WBS-202HD supports slave mode, allowing additional base stations to be linked across larger venues in a cellular arrangement to expand coverage and user capacity.
