Eartec UltraLITE ULSM Main PCB – Out of Warranty Repair

Replacement main PCB for the Eartec UltraLITE HD ULSM master headset. Supplied for out-of-warranty repair only.

UK and European frequency set only. Eartec UltraLITE headsets are made in different frequency sets for different markets — UK/European and US frequency headsets are not compatible with each other. Before ordering, check the inside of the headband arm on the boom side: if there is a black label with white letters reading "NB", your headset is the UK/European frequency set and this is the correct PCB. If there is no NB label, or you have purchased your headsets from a US supplier, do not order this part.

This is a component-level repair requiring skilled electronics work. The board is secured by screws that run through the PCB — a slipped screwdriver can cut tracks and cause further damage. The microphone switch jumper cables must be resoldered onto the new board. The Molex connectors are tight and require care to remove without damage. There is also a large edge connector that needs to be eased off carefully. This is not a job for a general technician with a screwdriver — it requires someone comfortable with board-level electronics and soldering.

Can I convert a master headset to a remote by fitting a ULSR-PCB? This is a question we are sometimes asked when a customer upgrades to a Hub-based system and their master headset becomes redundant. In theory you might get something working, but the master and remote boards differ in physical layout and on/off switching among other things. This is not a supported or tested configuration and not something we are able to assist with — if you choose to try it, you do so at your own risk.
