The HS1DYN is the Showcomms replacement for the ASL HS1D — a backstage staple for decades before ASL was acquired by Riedel and wound up. The HS1DYN is now being adopted by some of the West End's longest-running and most prestigious productions as the natural successor.

Dynamic Microphone — Built for Legacy Beltpacks

The HS1DYN is fitted with a dynamic microphone — the correct choice for legacy intercom beltpacks that require a dynamic mic input. Compatible with Tecpro, older Clearcom, and similar systems still widely in use across professional theatre and broadcast.

Boom Mic — Precise, Directional, Rotatable

The boom arm rotates to suit left or right ear wearing. Once positioned, it holds its place without drifting. The dynamic microphone is inherently less sensitive to background noise than electret alternatives — picking up your voice clearly while rejecting the ambient noise of a busy stage, live event, or production environment. A foam windshield is fitted as standard for additional breath and handling noise reduction.

Single Ear — Stay Aware

Single-sided design keeps one ear open to the room. Essential for stage management, sound, and lighting roles where situational awareness matters as much as clear comms.

XLR4F Connector — Industry Standard Wiring

Wired for Riedel and Clearcom — the standard for professional wired and wireless intercom beltpacks. Fits Tecpro, RTS, Altair, and other XLR4F compatible systems straight out of the box.
